Breakthrough Satisfaction

There is a trick to gaining terrific satisfaction in your business and your life. William Shakespeare summed it up nicely:

This above all: to thine own self be true.

First, figure out who you are in the world, and be that person, really, really, well. Master being that person.

Who are you? Where are you going? What drives you? How can you better yourself?

Discipline

Discipline is a necessity in your quest for success. Ask yourself if you are in it for the short term, or the long haul?

I’m going to go a little bit out on a limb here. I’m going to suggest that very little which is worth leading a group to accomplish is going to be accomplished without discipline.

Not in the trivial things. I’m talking about the things that matter. The things that take the concerted effort of a team working together.

Groupthink

Have you ever had an un-meeting of the minds?

When was the last time you and your team spent time just thinking – together? When did you get out of the office and sit around for a day, or even two, mulling things over?

I don’t mean playing golf or climbing a ropes course. Just hanging out – in a hotel or someone’s backyard. Examining where you’ve been and where you’d like to go. And maybe how you might get there.
